But for DIY users the Special Screws are unusable without some special tools and I had to get Self Tapping screws of a similar size to replace them

The quality of the drawers is excellent but I have only given three stars because Hafele will not give any dimensions on how to fit, in fact the one or two they give are deliberately misleading. They want you to buy the jigs. If you know what you are doing you will get around this otherwise buy BLUM
