The magic corner unit is typically used when you have a tight blind corner in a kitchen cabinet. When it comes to storage these units really offer the best solution, superior to that of the carousels or kidney corner unit, as they make the most efficient use of the space in a blind corner base unit, meaning that it is virtually entirely accessible. This particular magic corner unit is reversible which means can be installed in either a right or left hand configuration.

I am very pleased with the magic corner. My old one was 25 years old. Makes use of a corner that would just have been an empty space.

First class service from Solmer - I had to change another item in my order (wrong size of pull-out shelves ordered by mistake) and they sorted it out with the minimum of fuss, and everything arrived quicker than expected (even to N. Ireland!). It took my wife and I a few hours to install and the instructions were clear and easy to follow (you can download them from https://www.mvihazel.com/Portals/0/PDFs/Magic%20Corner%20Installation.pdf). In our case it was a left-hand installation, and we went for side fixing of the back frame rather than top/bottom. The trickiest bit was re-attaching the front door - we forgot to insert the lower handle before securing the side frame, so had to hack saw a bit off it to get it to fit in, and we had to move the door down by a few mm (X+18 maybe instead of X+15) to stop it catching on the worktop to the right when opening (as the door comes out straight for a bit first).

Easy to fit, solid construction

The part of the unit that attaches to the back of the cupboard can be fitted to the sides of the cabinet OR the top, this isn't clear from the pictures but was great news for me as it saved me having to add a support beam beneath the hob.

It took me about 2 hours to fit it all and I'm just an average DIYer.

This was a replacement for an old broken unit.
